Fandis TP25 Roof Exhaust Unit: More Space Inside the Enclosure, Higher Airflow

When heat dissipation requirements increase and space inside an electrical cabinet becomes limited, choosing the right ventilation system is essential. The Fandis TP25 roof exhaust unit is designed for exactly this situation: it delivers an airflow of over 1,000 m³/h and leaves the inside of the enclosure free for components.

Where the TP25 fits best

TP25 roof exhaust units are particularly suitable for enclosures with:

  • a high component density,
  • significant heat loads,
  • side-by-side installation, where space on the side panels is limited.

TP25 roof unit vs. wall-mounted filter fans

Compared with a solution based on wall-mounted filter fans, the TP25 offers several practical advantages.

More available space inside the enclosure

Installed on the roof, the unit does not take up internal space the way a wall-mounted filter fan can, which gives you more flexibility in the component layout.

High airflow with a single unit

Reaching airflow comparable to a TP25 may require several filter fans. The roof exhaust unit delivers high airflow with fewer devices, so you do not have to oversize the cabinet to fit multiple ventilation units.

Simplified maintenance

The TP25 works in reverse mode: it expels hot air from the enclosure, while incoming air is filtered by a filter unit installed on the wall or door. As a result, the roof unit’s own filter is less exposed to dirt, which reduces the need for maintenance.
